Time Trialling

Time-trailling is my favourite form of cycle racing. ¬†You against the clock. Time trials can be run over any distance but the most common distances for UK time trailists are 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles. Some people like to race time limited events of either 12 or 24 hours – but they’re not right in the head.

Personal Bests

  • 10 miles – 20 mins 48 secs On the E2/10 course (04/09/2004)
  • 25 miles – 54 mins 9 secs on the E2/25 course (25/05/2003)
  • 50 miles – 1 hour 56 mins 51 secs on F1B/50 course (13/06/2004)
  • 100 miles – 4 hours 21 mins 24 secs on G100/60 course (27/07/2002)
